Nathan and Starry...

I haven't posted new photos of little Nathan and Starry for a bit. Jess and Josh post a lot of photos on Facebook, but this grandma has trouble keeping up. It's so much easier to take photos these days that they proliferate faster than we can categorize and put them in virtual albums, blogs, etc.! Anyway, these were pretty cute, so I thought I'd share.

Nathan seems to be enjoying his new home in 'Tucky, as he calls it. Josh said that the other day Nathan climbed up into a patio chair and got stuck and couldn't turn around. When Josh asked if he needed help Nathan said, "No, the firemen will come and help me!"

The bathtub was having technical difficulties, so Nathan and his pirate ship adapted to the situation.

One of my babies...

Starry eating Goldfish and giggling...

Those little barefoot southern kids!

Old Jord playing at a church concert on Saturday, I believe. (I probably wasn't supposed to steal this photo. Shhh...)

There's a cute video on Facebook. Glenn, you may be able to see it if you click on this link:

Gittin' late. God bless y'all and shalom on your households!

Warm!

I emerged from my den, blinking in the bright sunlight...

Still snowy, but the temps should be in the 60's today. Yesterday it was in the 30's, so this may be the big change we need to finally melt the snow and start the grass growing and the trees budding!

It's a quiet day off for me. Bob's gone to get hay, groceries and visit the doctor. I am a lady of leisure...for a while. The two cuties (Audrey and Hazel) will be visiting us tonight while mom and dad, Micah and Adam, go out to eat for their 4th anniversary. (They both celebrated their 22nd birthdays this month!)

Here are the latest photos of said cuties:

Rolling on the floor is one of Hazey's favorite things to do. She's just started to crawl to reach interesting objects!

Audrey is always quick to climb into Grandpa's chair if he dares to get up for a second. Here she's enjoying some fruit flavored treats. (Her faves!)

Then it's jumperoo time!

I'm planning to do some blog visiting and loafing. Have a great day!

Shalom!

Babysitting Audrey...

Turned into a concert!

How's that?
Yup, she lights up our lives! (Mama Micah and Hazel went to Fargo for a Herbalife meeting, so we were treated to a few hours with Audrey until Daddy got home!)
'Night and shalom!

A ton of fun with Odj...

Audrey was feeling under the weather, so Mama Micah (as Odj calls her mom) left her with us while she and Hazel went to Early Childhood class. Audrey has had a persistent, though intermittent cough for over a month and has visited the doctor a couple of times. The last time she got a chest x-ray and had to wear a "straight jacket" type device to keep her still. Poor little kiddo. That's the sort of thing that sticks with a little one. Pretty scary when Mom can't stay with you in the x-ray room! She had some inflammation in her lungs, so she got some medicine. Well, the medication seems to upset her stomach and make her throw up. Now she doesn't want to eat so we're trying to keep her hydrated until Monday when Micah will take her in again if she isn't better. We're not sure if she's sensitive to the medication or if she's developing an allergy to milk. Prayers appreciated for little Audrey.

Despite all of these tribulations Odj had some fun today with old Grandma and Grandpa. I was glad to have a chance to love on her after all she's been through since the last time I saw her!

There was much drawing to be done...

...and, oh! What's on T.V.?

It's the Bubble Guppies! (One of my favorites.)

Okay, more coloring.

We traced around everyone's hands. Audrey thought it was pretty fun once she got the idea! She's getting really good at manipulating those crayons.

Chomping on some raisins and watching...

Peter Rabbit! (Well, it's not Beatrix Potter's art, but...still fun.)

Audrey and Hazel got matching shirts...

Audrey learned how to "fix" crayons by tearing off the paper to reveal more crayon goodness.

Audrey "takes our picture" with some little audio gadget that doesn't really take pictures.

Ball throwing practice. Watch out!!

Playing with a little friend...

Bert!

Time for reading of Dumpty Dumpty Dumpty Dumpty.

Now the Bear Family. Audrey did lots of good reading today!

Next on the agenda, stacking blocks...

...two different ways!

Now for a little Dora the Explorer...

and some relaxing time (that lasted all of 5 minutes)!

And that's what we did today with Audrey. It's always entertaining! :)

Shalom!

Easter pics...

Little Miss Hazey in her Easter dress...

Hazey and Audrey. Wish I had gotten a better pic of Odj! She was wearing a pretty dress, too!

We had a good Easter. Church was very good, and afterwards we drove to Fargo to have Chinese food with daughter Missy and her boyfriend Shane. Micah, Adam, Hazel and Audrey followed us in their car, so we had a good group for Easter dinner.

Hope you had a good Easter as well!

Shalom for now.
